The “SurPhase: Sustainable Surface Engineering with AI, Multiscale Modeling, and Additive Manufacturing for Enhanced Phase-Change Heat Transfer’’ project, in which Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (MDBF) and EFSUN researchers Ali Koşar and Omid Moradi will take part, has been awarded funding under the Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Networks 2025 Call.
The project will be carried out in collaboration with Birmingham University, Padova University, Sabancı University, and Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
The SurPhase project is dedicated to training the next generation of experts in sustainable surface engineering, artificial intelligence, numerical modeling, and additive manufacturing for phase-change heat transfer applications.
